Te Pikitia tumblr

I'm aiming to be more active on Te Pikitia tumblr this year, trying to work through piles of material in Te Pikitia Archive. later in the year this blog will migrate to a site proper but in the meantime Te Pikitia blog will feature more text heavy posts & small galleries and Te Pikitia tumblr will focus on showcasing art. Here's a round up of recent tumblr posts.

Comics in Australian Advertising 1930's - 1940's Part Two

Part two of an irregular series showcasing comics in Australian advertising from the Australian Woman's Weekly circa 1930's and 1940's. Although uncredited it's quite possible the artists of these worked on comic books, illustration and commercial art as many artists of this era did.
